BYD sets October 13 launch for Da Han 1,008 km EV

BYD Dynasty sales general manager Lu Tian said on 25 September 2026 that the Da Han (Great Han) flagship sedan will go on sale in China on 13 October. Pre-sales began at the Chengdu Auto Show on 21 August at 249,900 to 299,900 yuan for three EV variants; the two rear-drive trims claim 1,008 km CLTC range on a 370 kW motor and the all-wheel-drive trim claims 880 km CLTC with 570 kW combined. The D-segment sedan sits above the existing Han and follows the Da Tang SUV in BYD's premium Dynasty push; a plug-in hybrid version has not yet opened pre-sales.
