Agility and FORT sign Digit 5 Offboard Safety Bridge MOU

A Form 425 filed Oct. 1, 2026 reproduces a joint release saying Agility Robotics and FORT Robotics signed a memorandum of understanding on Digit 5 safety infrastructure, including a jointly developed Offboard Safety Bridge. The companies described a three-part architecture of a safety pendant, on-robot communications and off-robot interfaces, and said Digit predecessors have logged more than 65,000 hours at sites including Schaeffler, GXO and Toyota Motor Manufacturing Canada. The filing labels the pact an MOU, not a disclosed dollar contract, and Digit 5 early access remains targeted for the first half of 2027.
