Axiom says two ARC nodes are live with Kepler optical links
On Oct. 6, 2026 in Antalya, Axiom Space said two Axiom Resilient Compute nodes are operating on Kepler Communications' optical relay constellation, with ARC-to-ARC and ARC-to-ground links confirmed. The company also completed a ground demonstration migrating a post-quantum-encrypted workload; an on-orbit PQC demonstration is the next milestone. ARC 1 and ARC 2 use 2.5 Gbps optical links compatible with SDA Tranche 1 standards and were developed with Texas Space Commission grant funds. Kepler is not in the Atlas catalog.
