Shield AI and GEK TERNA pursue X-BAT work in Greece

Shield AI and Greece's GEK TERNA signed an Oct. 8 memorandum in Athens to pursue X-BAT parts production, aircraft integration and long-term sustainment in Greece. Shield AI would lead the program and supply Hivemind autonomy and mission systems, while GEK TERNA would run a local program office and supplier base covering assembly, launch sites, training and maintenance. Definitive workshare and facilities remain under negotiation; the companies said X-BAT flight testing is still due later this year.
