XPeng names robotaxi YOYO and opens invite trials

XPeng's official WeChat account said October 8 that its Robotaxi business is now branded 小鹏悠游 / XPENG YOYO, with a dedicated website page and a YOYO autonomous ride-hailing mini-program. Public trials are planned through invitation codes, moving the program from employee testing toward open-user operations. The company has previously said mass-produced GX-based robotaxis completed more than 2,000 internal Guangzhou rides and still targets passenger service without a safety driver in 2027.
