UBTECH and Xiamen C&D target 10,000 humanoids by 2030

UBTECH said it signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Shanghai-listed Xiamen C&D in Xiamen on Oct. 9. The robot maker's Oct. 11 statement says the two will form a joint venture to run a Fujian ecosystem technology-center headquarters and aim to sell no fewer than 10,000 UBTECH humanoid robots together by 2030. C&D's own note confirmed the signing and named channels such as government showrooms and industrial parks, but it did not repeat the unit target or joint-venture terms.
