BYD shows the Atto 8 in Paris for a 2027 European sale

BYD introduced the seven-seat Atto 8 at the Paris Motor Show on Oct. 12 and said European dealers will start sales in the first quarter of 2027. The company says the rear-drive model uses a 115 kWh second-generation Blade battery with up to 405 miles of WLTP combined range, and that Flash Charging takes that pack from 10% to 70% in five minutes and from 10% to 97% in nine minutes on BYD Flash chargers. BYD targets 3,000 Flash stations in Europe by the end of 2027. Prices were not announced. Electrek wrote the five-minute window as 10% to 80%; the company page says 10% to 70%.
