Oklo, Centrus sign HALEU fuel deal for Ohio Aurora campus
Oklo and Centrus Energy signed a letter of intent on June 18 for Centrus to supply domestic high-assay low-enriched uranium (HALEU) to power up to five of Oklo's Aurora powerhouses for multiple years, with deliveries slated to begin in 2029 - one of the first large-scale commercial HALEU supply agreements, and one that could include prepayments from Oklo. The fuel would support Oklo's planned 1.2-gigawatt Clean Energy Campus in southern Ohio. Separately, Oklo signed a memorandum of understanding with Kiewit Nuclear Solutions to support engineering, procurement and construction planning for the initial Aurora deployments at the site.
