Pony.ai opens Singapore robotaxi service to the public
Pony.ai and local operator ComfortDelGro opened their autonomous mobility service in Singapore's Punggol district to the general public on June 22, letting riders book driverless trips through ComfortDelGro's Zig app after an earlier invite-only pilot. The route links Punggol residential areas with hubs including Punggol Coast Mall, Punggol Coast MRT station and One Punggol. It is Pony.ai's first public-access robotaxi service in Southeast Asia and supports its target of deploying more than 3,500 robotaxis across over 20 cities by the end of 2026.
