The Guardian reported a safety driver, no passengers, and street mapping, and Transport for Greater Manchester said no driverless-taxi application had been filed. Launches PonyWorld 2.0 physical-AI training system
On April 10, 2026, Pony.ai launches PonyWorld 2.0, an upgrade to the proprietary world-model training system it has built since 2020 that spans cloud-side training and vehicle-side deployment.
