NIO opens pre-orders for five-seat ES8, sets July 9 launch
NIO opened pre-orders on June 28 for a five-seat version of its best-selling third-generation ES8, broadening the high-margin flagship SUV into a new segment with display cars reaching stores the same day and a market launch set for July 9. Early buyers can use a 5,000-yuan deposit to offset 10,000 yuan off the price. The move comes as the third-gen ES8 - a key driver of NIO's recent margin recovery - topped 120,000 cumulative deliveries since its September 2025 debut.
