Rivian beats Q2 delivery target, raises full-year outlook
Rivian produced 12,613 vehicles and delivered 12,194 in the second quarter of 2026, topping its own guidance of 9,000 to 11,000 units as customer deliveries of the new R2 SUV got underway in June. On the strength of the quarter, Rivian raised its full-year 2026 delivery outlook to between 65,000 and 70,000 vehicles, up from a prior 62,000 to 67,000. Shares jumped roughly 8% on the news; the company reports Q2 financial results on July 30.
