Tesla expands Robotaxi to Orlando and Tampa, reaching seven cities
Tesla launched unsupervised Robotaxi service in Orlando and Tampa on July 21, extending its Florida footprint to three metros in under three weeks after Miami's July 3 debut. The network now spans seven U.S. markets - Austin, Dallas, Houston, Miami, Orlando and Tampa with driverless Model Ys, plus the San Francisco Bay Area operating with an in-car safety monitor. The expansion, timed a day before Tesla's Q2 earnings, widens coverage even as its flagship Austin unsupervised fleet has remained small.
