NIO's ES9 SUV becomes China's second-biggest revenue generator
NIO's flagship ES9 SUV generated an estimated 5.3 billion yuan ($784 million) in revenue in June, more than any other car in China except Tesla's Model Y, according to Bloomberg Intelligence. The ES9 delivered 8,595 units in June alone and topped 10,000 cumulative deliveries within 30 days of its late-May launch, with top trims now facing waitlists of up to 16 weeks.
