Rivian posts record gross profit in Q2 2026 earnings
Rivian reported second-quarter 2026 results on July 30, with revenue up 27% year over year to $1.658 billion and a record $179 million consolidated gross profit, though the automotive segment itself still lost $36 million. The company delivered 12,194 vehicles as the R2 ramp got underway, held its raised full-year delivery guidance of 65,000 to 70,000 units, narrowed its 2026 adjusted-EBITDA-loss guidance to $1.8-2.0 billion, and ended the quarter with $5.31 billion in cash and short-term investments.
