BYD confirms first humanoid robot to debut in August
BYD confirmed on July 29, 2026 that its first humanoid robot will formally debut in August at the company's Di Space experience venues, joining Tesla, Unitree and other automakers racing into the humanoid-robot market. A teaser from BYD's Zhengzhou Di Space center promised 'in early August, a new friend wants to meet you,' though BYD has not yet released the robot's name, design or specifications.
