BYD posts third straight sales rise, record NEV exports

BYD sold 419,211 new-energy vehicles at wholesale in July 2026, up 21.76% year-on-year and its third consecutive month of annual growth, with overseas passenger-vehicle and pickup sales hitting a monthly record of 179,841 units, up 124.3% year-on-year. Year-to-date NEV sales through July reached 2,227,722 units, still down 10.54% from a year earlier, though the decline has narrowed from a 15.72% drop at mid-year.
