LG Energy Solution's storage revenue surges 4.6x in H1 2026
LG Energy Solution's formal Q2 2026 results, released July 30, showed energy storage system revenue up 4.6 times year over year in the first half of 2026, reaching the high-20% range of total revenue and helping drive new ESS orders above KRW3 trillion. Consolidated Q2 revenue was KRW7.6 trillion (up 15.3% quarter over quarter) with operating profit of KRW113.3 billion, a return to profitability after prior-quarter losses, though the 1.5% operating margin remains well below the 8.1% margin a year earlier as EV cell sales stay weak.
