BYD's Denza opens Z9S pre-orders with record 1,100 km range

BYD's premium Denza brand opened pre-orders for the Z9S sedan on August 3 in three trims priced 319,800-389,800 yuan (about $47,000-$57,000), all built on a 102.3 kWh Blade Battery 2.0 with Flash Charging that recharges 10-70% in as little as 5 minutes. The top tri-motor trim claims a CLTC range of 1,100 km, which Denza bills as the longest range of any mass-produced all-electric vehicle.
