NuScale, Curio and Framatome sign nuclear fuel-cycle MOU
NuScale Power, fuel-recycling startup Curio, and reactor and fuel supplier Framatome signed a memorandum of understanding on August 6 to evaluate turning materials recovered through Curio's NuCycle technology into fuel for future reactors. The companies plan technical assessments, feasibility studies, and supply-chain analysis toward possible development and commercialization agreements, as NuScale works to line up fuel supply behind the 12 power modules it already has in production.
