Saronic opens Gulfport, Mississippi site for Marauder testing
Saronic announced August 9 that it has taken a 30,000-plus-square-foot facility at the Port of Gulfport, Mississippi, dedicated to on-water testing and commissioning of its 180-foot Marauder unmanned surface vessel before delivery. The company's first Marauder arrived at the site in mid-July and has logged hundreds of hours of trials running 12-plus hours a day, with additional hulls built at its Franklin, Louisiana shipyard set to transfer there as production increases.
