Archer and AEG plan downtown LA's first vertiport
Archer Aviation and sports and entertainment group AEG announced on August 24 an exclusive multiyear partnership to develop a vertiport at AEG's L.A. LIVE district in downtown Los Angeles, next to Crypto.com Arena, which the companies say would be the first announced vertiport in downtown LA. The two have completed an initial feasibility study covering land use, airspace, power availability, and community impact, and are now reviewing operational approach and guest experience, building toward Archer's role as the official air taxi provider of the LA28 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
