Archer signs a conditional Italy air-taxi agreement with ITA

On Oct. 29, 2026 Archer said it signed an agreement with ITA Airways, part of the Lufthansa Group, to partner on an all-electric Midnight air-taxi network in major Italian cities. Archer says ITA is the first European airline in its partner network and that ITA would connect the service to its own network while specialized partners operate the flights. Archer's release says the agreement remains conditional on definitive agreements and stated conditions, and it does not give a launch date, a confirmed route, or an aircraft count. Aviation Week reported the same exploration agreement on Oct. 30.
