Shield AI signs Poland X-BAT production letter
Shield AI, Polish Armaments Group (PGZ) and Military Aircraft Works No. 2 (WZL-2) signed a five-year letter of intent at MSPO covering design, production, delivery and sustainment of the X-BAT autonomous VTOL fighter in Poland. The LOI also covers Hivemind software, V-BAT, MRO, training, supply-chain participation and technology transfer, with a detailed work-share still to be negotiated. CEO Ryan Tseng said PGZ and WZL-2 already maintain Polish combat aircraft and that the industrial base should build and support X-BAT for Poland and export.
