Hyundai picks Nvidia ADAS after delaying Atria
Reuters reported on September 13 that Hyundai Motor will delay its in-house Atria driver-assist software to late 2029 from late 2027 and instead roll out a Level 2-plus and Level 2-plus-plus system in 2028 on Nvidia Hyperion 10 hardware. The first stack will use cameras, ultrasonic sensors and radar, with lidar later for Level 3. Hyundai also said it is working with Nvidia on data-center chips and Boston Dynamics humanoids.
