Nvidia's Brookfield AI fund stake is $2 billion
Bloomberg reported on September 17 that Nvidia has committed $2 billion to Brookfield Asset Management's Brookfield Artificial Intelligence Infrastructure Fund, disclosing the size of an anchor investment announced last year without a figure. Nvidia and the Kuwait Investment Authority are founding investors in the vehicle, which is targeting $10 billion of equity for AI factories, behind-the-meter power, and compute infrastructure. Brookfield's November 2025 launch said the fund had already taken $5 billion of commitments from a select group including Brookfield, Nvidia, and KIA as part of a wider $100 billion AI infrastructure program.
