Denza launches Z9S sedan with 1,100 km CLTC range

BYD's Denza brand launched the Z9S electric sedan in China on September 23 at 255,800 to 325,800 yuan, well below August pre-sale prices. The Flash Charge Flagship lists a 122.496 kWh battery and 1,100 km CLTC range, which Denza called a record among mass-produced battery-electric cars; the tri-motor e3 performance trim is rated at 890 kW and 2.68 seconds to 100 km/h. All three trims use second-generation Blade batteries and flash charging that Denza said can take the pack from 10% to 70% in five minutes.
