Poland investigates arson at a Starlink ground station

A fire broke out on the evening of September 23 at a Starlink satellite communications ground station in Wola Krobowska, south of Warsaw. Poland's National Prosecutor's Office opened a case on September 24 treating the fire as arson and a suspected act of sabotage on behalf of a foreign intelligence service, with a stated aim of disrupting Starlink connectivity in Poland and Central and Eastern Europe; no charges have been filed. State operator Exatel said it subleases the land and provides data transmission, that none of its own infrastructure was destroyed, and that its services were unaffected. SpaceX had not issued a public comment in the sources checked.
