Frontier AI firms sign White House Super Intelligence accord

On September 29, 2026 President Donald Trump and executives from OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Nvidia and SpaceXAI (xAI) signed the White House Accord on Super Intelligence Joint Commitment on Frontier Responsibilities, a voluntary four-layer plan covering internal model controls, an internal team, independent external audits and a board committee. Trump the same day signed an executive order directing federal agencies to use Super Intelligence and SI in place of Artificial Intelligence and AI. The accord is described as morally binding and says the steps may later be written into law; Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg also signed and is described here without a catalog entry.
