Nvidia opens Vera Rubin rack designs at the OCP summit
At the Open Compute Project summit in San Jose on Oct. 12, Nvidia said it contributed Vera Rubin rack and compute-tray designs to OCP through MGX, including a liquid-cooled rack specification for deployments up to 250 kW. Nvidia said Meta will adopt Spectrum-6 102.4 Tb/s Ethernet switches for Vera Rubin factories, and that future ConnectX-10 SuperNICs and BlueField DPUs will support Google's Falcon transport. SiliconANGLE reported the same rack contribution and Meta switch adoption. This is an open-design and networking announcement, not a new shipment total.
