Current status

Entry still requires regulatory approval, and Moderna named no start date. Interim Phase 1 results in healthy adults ages 18 to 65 in Canada showed the shot was generally well tolerated and a single dose generated binding antibodies. CEPI has committed up to $58.5 million for preclinical testing, Phase 1 trials in Canada and Uganda, and additional clinical doses. CEPI's separate funding for the Tumaini study is not part of that commitment.
