TSMC posts record June revenue, up 68% ahead of earnings
Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. reported June 2026 consolidated revenue of about NT$442.68 billion, up 6.2% from May and 67.9% from a year earlier, lifting first-half 2026 revenue to roughly NT$2.40 trillion - a 35.6% annual increase. The surge reflects near-fully-booked demand for TSMC's leading-edge N3 and N5 nodes that produce AI accelerators for customers including Nvidia and Apple. The figures set up TSMC's closely watched second-quarter earnings report on July 16, where investors will focus on capital-spending plans amid a broader selloff in AI chip stocks.
