Trump administration taps Oklo, X-energy for nuclear-AI push
The Trump administration is preparing a roughly $200 million federal initiative - alongside Microsoft and Nvidia - to accelerate the design, licensing and construction of advanced reactors to power AI data centers, naming Oklo and X-energy among the reactor suppliers, Bloomberg reported. About $60 million over three years would flow to Department of Energy national labs and universities including UT Austin. Oklo shares rose as much as roughly 10% and X-energy-linked names climbed in after-hours trading on the report.
