Farnborough 2026 closes with $84.7bn in deals; Airbus sets record

The Farnborough International Airshow wrapped its four trade days with deals worth a combined $84.7 billion, according to figures compiled by UK trade body ADS, with Airbus, Boeing and Embraer securing 353 firm aircraft orders. Airbus called it a company record for the show, claiming $75.3 billion in orders and commitments for 496 aircraft, while Boeing edged Airbus on firm orders led by lessor SMBC Aviation Capital's split 100-plus-100 narrowbody deal. Engine makers CFM International, Pratt & Whitney and GE Aerospace drew 904 firm orders, and the totals are expected to generate about $14.6 billion in value for the UK economy.
