Lucid unveils operational reset targeting $1.4B cash savings
Lucid Motors reported Q2 2026 revenue of $405 million and 4,774 vehicles produced on August 4, and CEO Silvio Napoli unveiled an operational reset targeting $1.4 billion in 2026 cash savings across inventory, capital expenditures, and operating costs. The plan is built around four priorities: cost discipline, the Uber and Nuro robotaxi program now testing Gravity-based vehicles in the Bay Area and Houston, the AMP-2 Saudi Arabia factory, and a delayed midsize vehicle.
