Archer's Zee AI model predicts airport surface trajectories
Archer Aviation said on August 5 that its Zee aviation foundation model achieved a breakthrough demonstrating real-time prediction of aircraft trajectories on the airport surface several minutes into the future, giving pilots and controllers more time to react to potential conflicts. The model pairs a generative conditional-flow-matching framework with a satellite-imagery vision transformer, and Archer has begun testing it at Hawthorne Airport ahead of planned pilot programs with airlines and regulators.
