Nova Block 2
Overview
Larger fully reusable Nova configuration developed in parallel with Pathfinder: 14 Zenith first-stage engines, a cylindrical upper stage with a 5-meter fairing, and an Andromeda Block 2 upper stage using 12 independent engines (24 thrust chambers) for engine-out resilience. Aimed at constellation deployment and replenishment.
Publicly unveiled September 8, 2026 after more than a year of parallel development. Stoke says Pathfinder flights in 2027-2028 will prove the reuse architecture while Block 2 hardware is built and tested; first Block 2 flight is targeted for 2029. Moses Lake is expanding from 75 to 550 acres and a Cape Canaveral payload processing facility is being sized for both vehicles. CEO Andy Lapsa said Stoke is in early customer discussions for Block 2.
