Current status
2026 facelift (October 2025) adds a 900V SiC architecture and up to 6C charging (10-80% in ~10 minutes); global orders passed 200,000 in August 2026 across more than 50 countries and regions, and the 200,000th 7X rolled off the line on September 8, 2026 (production, not deliveries; global deliveries had approached 180,000 by end-July). The model holds segment leadership in markets including Hong Kong, Australia, and Mexico. A 2027 model-year update is set to go on sale in China in Q4 2026, adding an 85-kWh 'Aegis Golden Brick' LFP battery variant that bridges the gap between the existing 75-kWh and 103-kWh options; pricing has not yet been disclosed.

Zeekr 7X catches fire at Ningbo charging station
A Zeekr 7X SUV caught fire at a public charging station in Ningbo, China on August 9, with local fire crews extinguishing the blaze and no injuries reported. Zeekr said in a statement that a preliminary investigation found the vehicle had been in a serious collision and had not been inspected or repaired at an authorized service center, and urged owners to have the battery, high-voltage system and body structure checked for damage after any collision.
