Overview
Tesla's stainless steel electric pickup truck, positioned as a high-performance utility vehicle with adaptive suspension, high towing capacity, and fast charging. Tesla's current lineup includes Dual Motor All-Wheel Drive, Premium All-Wheel Drive, and Cyberbeast trims.
Tesla is actively selling multiple Cybertruck trims and highlights towing, cargo capacity, adjustable ride height, and 325 kW peak Supercharging on the current product page. Sales, however, have collapsed well short of Musk's original 250,000-unit annual projection: US sales fell 48% year over year to 20,237 units in 2025, the steepest decline of any US EV nameplate that year, and Q1 2026 hit a record low of 3,519 deliveries. A Bloomberg feature published July 22, 2026 framed the Cybertruck as the auto industry's new benchmark commercial flop, surpassing the Ford Edsel on a target-versus-actual basis. On August 7, 2026 Tesla acknowledged that the power conversion system (PCS) in 2024-2025 Cybertrucks does not meet its reliability standards, extending the PCS warranty on those model years to 8 years/150,000 miles (versus a 7-year/70,000-mile PCS warranty on the redesigned 2026 model year), agreeing to reimburse owners who already paid for PCS repairs, and pushing a software update that keeps Supercharging available even if the PCS fails.
