Announced September 15, 2026. MediaTek said this flagship phone chip uses a 2nm process. The CPU is two C2-Ultra cores up to 4.55 GHz, three C2-Pro cores at 4.35 GHz, and three C2-Pro cores at 3.1 GHz. The release also names an NPU 1090, a G2-Ultra NX GPU, and Imagiq 1290. A stated 61% drop in multi-core power is from MediaTek lab demos.

Phones using the 9600 Pro and the 9600M were expected in the quarter of the September 15, 2026 release. No later ship date is stored. The 9600M is described as upcoming and has no clock speeds in that release.
