High-speed interceptor developed with WIY Drones through Quantum WIY Industries to counter jet-powered attack drones such as Geran-4 and Geran-5. It is distinct from STRILA. On 7 October 2026 Quantum vice president Matthias Lehna said a letter of intent signed over the weekend covered tens of thousands of SPYS, that thousands were ready for delivery in 2026, and that production using existing STRILA capacity could reach several thousand units a month. Reporting of the briefing distinguishes that letter from a final procurement contract. No euro price and no exact unit count were disclosed.

Zelensky said on 4 October 2026 that a SPYS test was successful. Ukrinform reported a Ukrainian Defence Ministry memorandum that day with Quantum on testing and purchase of jet-drone interceptors. The memorandum is not a priced contract.

WIY STRILA is a high-speed interceptor UAV built to defeat fast, maneuverable aerial targets including Shahed-class loitering munitions and reconnaissance drones. The April 2026 Quantum techsheet lists 5.7 kg take-off weight, up to 700 g payload, 34 km maximum flight range, 15-minute flight time, 415 km/h top speed and 6,000 m maximum altitude, with radar cueing, VTOL launch and operator-in-the-loop intercept. Production is scaled in Ukraine through Quantum WIY Industries and integrates with MOSAIC UXS.
