Overview
SK hynix's sixth-generation high-bandwidth memory for AI accelerators. The company said HBM4 met customer operating-speed requirements with what it called industry-leading power efficiency, and that mass shipments began in the second quarter of 2026, with production to ramp in the second half. It also said HBM4 yields and quality were already close to mature HBM3E.
Mass shipments began in Q2 2026. Second-half 2026 ramp announced. Volume and pricing talks for 2027 were still underway at the July 29 earnings call.
