GLM-5.3 (August 14, 2026) is an extended post-training pass on the same ~743B-parameter mixture-of-experts base as GLM-5.2, claiming a 50% jump in coding capability and the top spot among open-weight models on benchmarks including Terminal-Bench 3.0.

GLM-5.3 is live now on the GLM Coding Plan and ZCode; open model weights are due roughly two weeks after the August 14, 2026 release, a departure from GLM-5.2's same-day weight drop.
