Overview

An AI research workbench, launched June 30, 2026, that connects Claude to more than 60 scientific databases and computation tools across genomics, proteomics, structural biology and cheminformatics, coordinating specialist sub-agents and a citation/calculation-checking reviewer agent. Built on the ~$400M acqui-hire of ex-Genentech drug-discovery startup Coefficient Bio, it launched alongside an internal Anthropic drug-discovery program targeting diseases traditional biopharma considers commercially unattractive.

Available in beta to all Claude Pro, Max, Team and Enterprise subscribers since launch; no separate pricing tier disclosed.
