Eve eVTOL
Overview
Lift-plus-cruise eVTOL carrying four passengers plus a pilot: eight dedicated fixed-pitch vertical-lift rotors, one aft pusher propeller, and Embraer fifth-generation fly-by-wire, with a ~100 km range. Electric motors supplied by Beta Technologies; cabin by Diehl Aviation.
Full-scale engineering prototype first flew December 19, 2025; completed the hover/low-speed test block in May 2026 (59 flights, 100+ test points). Returned to flight July 18, 2026 to begin transition testing, then activated the pusher propeller for the first time on August 3, 2026, reaching 27 kt stabilized. By early August the prototype had logged 66 flights, with management estimating about 30 more needed to reach full wingborne transition above 85 kt. Design freeze targeted year-end 2026; six conforming prototypes assemble through 2027 with first crewed conforming flight in H2 2027; ANAC/FAA certification targeted 2028.
