Overview
The A350 XWB (eXtra Wide Body) is Airbus's latest-generation wide-body aircraft, featuring a carbon-fibre reinforced polymer fuselage and wings for superior fuel efficiency and passenger comfort.
In active production with two passenger variants in service (A350-900 and A350-1000) plus an ultra-long-range A350-900ULR flown by Singapore Airlines. The A350F freighter - with a backlog now at 107 firm orders after Atlas Air's March 2026 order - is tentatively targeting first flight in late September 2026 (around September 24, per reports August 19-20), with first customer delivery still expected in the second half of 2027.
