Overview
ICEYE's current production SAR bus, designed for mass manufacture and sovereign missions. Gen4 doubles antenna size and signal strength versus prior generations, images at up to 16 cm, covers a 400 km high-resolution field of regard, and downlinks at up to 700 Mbps on a steerable antenna. The satellites are software-defined (IceOS) and ITAR-free, which is central to ICEYE's European and allied government pitch.
In commercial and sovereign operation. A Gen4 spacecraft flew on Transporter-17 in July 2026. ICEYE says a full Gen4 mission system can be operational 12 months after contract.
