Overview
A computer-vision counter-drone software product that runs on electro-optical and infrared video for passive detection, without radar or radio emissions. Shield AI licenses it onto platforms operators already field rather than selling a dedicated interceptor.
On September 1, 2026 Shield AI said L3Harris licensed Tracker C-UAS for the VAMPIRE counter-drone platform. The companies had previously demonstrated Tracker with L3Harris WESCAM MX-Series sensors. Shield AI said VAMPIRE systems have logged more than 350,000 operational hours and shot down hundreds of hostile drones in combat since 2023.
