Overview

The crewed, all-electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) member of the ALIA family - a lift-plus-cruise design with four fixed-pitch overhead rotors for vertical lift and a single rear pusher propeller for forward cruise. It shares roughly 80% commonality with the CX300, including flight controls and cockpit layout, and is the aircraft the defense-focused MV250 is derived from.

Flying alongside the CX300 in BETA's certification and demonstration program; a June 2026 Vermont demonstration included a piloted hybrid landing using both the lift rotors and pusher propeller. Certification is sequenced behind the CX300, which BETA now targets for the second half of 2027, with the A250 expected to follow around 2028 per company SEC filings.
