Current status
The third-generation ES8 is NIO's flagship SUV and topped 140,000 cumulative deliveries on August 21, 2026. A five-seat, two-row ES8 variant launched July 9, 2026 with deliveries from July 10 (Executive Premium from RMB382,800, or RMB274,800 with BaaS). The expanded lineup delivered 10,999 units in August 2026 (51.95% of NIO-brand volume, +6.91% MoM off a revised July 10,288) and 99,946 year-to-date. NIO user-ops head Yang Bo said on September 14 the 150,000th third-gen ES8 would be delivered that week, approaching the model's first anniversary of deliveries, but NIO has not posted a confirmation of the actual unit as of September 19.
